SRAM

An About page that makes you feel excited about the company instead of just informed.

Bike company About page with large hero image and structured company story sections.

Why I Like This Page

Most About pages are an afterthought. Someone throws in a couple photos and a generic company description. This one actually makes you feel something.

It starts with a massive hero image that makes you want to get outside, which is exactly the vibe you'd want from a bike company. From there, it walks through their history, where they are, how to work for them, and what they do. The best part? It's all done without feeling like a corporate press release.

The whole thing just feels like they cared enough to make this page, which gives the impression they care about their company. Not just profits.

Layout and Flow

The structure is clean and intentional. Each section has room to breathe, and the hierarchy guides you naturally through the story without feeling forced.

Photography does a lot of the heavy lifting here. The images reinforce the brand at every step and keep the energy high, even as you're reading through company info that could easily feel dry.

It's laid out more like an editorial feature than a corporate page, which makes it way more engaging.

What I'd Steal From This

  • Treating the About page like a brand experience, not just a placeholder for company facts.
  • Starting with a bold, inspirational hero that sets the tone before diving into details.
  • Using strong photography throughout to keep energy up and reinforce brand values.
  • Structuring content like an editorial story instead of a list of facts.

What I'm Not Crazy About

Honestly, I can't find anything worth nitpicking here. It's a solid page that does exactly what it should.
