Why I Like This Site

This is just a very nicely put together portfolio. It feels warm and fuzzy, and that's the kind of confidence I want when hiring a designer.

She does branding and graphic design, and I feel both in this site. It's a very cohesive brand with nice typography and colors. Plus, there are a ton of examples of her work sprinkled throughout that give me visual proof she knows what she's doing.

Layout and Flow

The structure is energetic and filled with personality. Work samples are woven throughout the experience, which keeps the portfolio feeling active and engaging instead of just being a static gallery.

The typography and color system create a strong, unified brand presence. Everything feels intentional and connected, which is exactly what you want to see from someone offering branding services.

It's a little busy, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. To me, it gives the vibe of one of those happy and creative coffee shops that give off a lot of positive energy.

What I'd Steal From This

• Building a cohesive personal brand that demonstrates your skills while showcasing them.
• Sprinkling work examples throughout the site instead of isolating them in one portfolio section.
• Using warmth and energy to build confidence and connection with potential clients.
• Letting typography and color carry your brand identity across the whole experience.

What I'm Not Crazy About

Compared to one of the current trends of minimalism, it has a lot going on. But, it's done in a way that still feels enjoyable overall. The busyness works for the vibe she's going for (creative, energetic, approachable). I think a lot of sights are minimal because the designer doesn't have the skill to fill it up, which she clearly does.
